iCare Plus was established in 2020 by Godfrey Chinomoma, Andrew Sithole and Muziwani Mtetwa with the sole objective to address the perceived problems in Southern Africa and eventually the world. They believe Southern Africa is not equipped with sufficient resources which ensue in poor service delivery. The core aim of the organization is to change people’s perceptions and expose them to opportunities that will eventually improve their standard of leaving.
Children from poverty-stricken communities fight to get into higher institutions of education to acquire education which would ultimately change their status quo. Upon acceptance into these institutions, many are left to fend for themselves, the lack of funding results in some dropping out. This rate is exacerbated by the lack of computer skills which would have been acquired had the high schools been well equipped.
Those who have managed to get degreed are disappointed by the current economic conditions that do not provide a breeding process for highly skilled human capital. More enticing opportunities exist abroad rather than in Southern Africa, implying that there are greener pastures outside Africa. Hence, Southern Africa suffers from brain drain as economic participants produced by the malfunctioning education system are not adequate to produce optimal results at the desired growth rate. I care Plus is on a mission to create an incubation hub for growth and development in Southern Africa and the world.
